Aether StaticView catalog

Release facts should outlive release chat.

Aether Static is an independent web project focused on one narrow problem: keeping the public facts about a static release readable, durable, and easy to verify.

Why it exists

Build systems know what shipped. People often do not.

Static teams regularly scatter release details across CI output, pull requests, chat, and hosting configuration. Aether Static turns the durable parts into one public catalog that can be read in a browser or requested as JSON.

How it is built

The site follows the same model it documents.

Aether Static publishes its own asset catalog, immutable release manifest, status JSON, Atom feed, and security policy as static resources. The product story and the operating model are the same thing.

Readable before clever

Release metadata should make sense to a reviewer without requiring a proprietary dashboard or client library.

Public paths are contracts

Every catalog row should resolve to a real resource, with a stable path and explicit cache intent.

One release identity

Catalog JSON, release notes, feed entries, documentation, and status references should agree on version and time.

Small operational surface

Static output keeps hosting portable and reduces the number of services needed to publish release context.
